The Academy of the Arts at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith has released its schedule of events for the 2015-16 On Stage series, comprised of theatrical and musical performances presented throughout the school year.

The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith seventh-annual Majors Expo will be held 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sept. 15 in the Reynolds Rooms of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center for students and prospective students looking to choose a college major.
UAFS to Host Clarinet Day Sept. 19
A daylong event at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith will feature performances and classes by Dr. Andrew DeBoer, visiting assistant professor of clarinet at UAFS, and Dr. Robert Spring, international performing and recording artist and professor of clarinet at Arizona State University.
Guerrero Presentation Slated for Sept. 24
Dr. Perla Guerrero, a professor at the University of Maryland, will speak at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24 in conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month.
UAFS to Host Music Faculty Showcase
The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith will host a Music Faculty Showcase at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 15 at The Blue Lion at UAFS Downtown. The event will feature various members of the UAFS music faculty presenting a variety of music, from classical to contemporary to jazz. The concert is free and open to the public.
