The Singing Men of Arkansas - A Tribute to the Oldies

The UAFS Academy of the Arts presents the Singing Men of Arkansas Thursday October 25 at 7:30pm in the Breedlove Auditorium.  Back by popular demand, this outstanding men’s chorus conducted by Mike Bedford is presenting an evening of oldies and goldies.  Come hear some of your favorite popular songs and old hymns.  Guest performances include the Academy of the Arts Children’s Choir and Teen Honor Choir performing with SMA, as well as pianists Jonathan Story and Rosilee Walker Russell performing Battle Hymn of the Republic, What a Mighty Fortress is Our God, and others.  Don’t miss this wonderful event.  An evening for the entire family!  Tickets are only $12 at the Campus Center Box Office at 788-7300.  Tickets are also available online at uafs.edu or at the door.  The event is expected to be a sell-out!  Doors open at 7pm.  Part of the Distinguished Artists Series.  Purchase season tickets and save!

 

4 pianos & Some Kids - A Musical Folly

If you love the piano, this is the concert for you!  Pianists Rosilee Walker Russell, Jonathan Story, Gini Law, and Scott Carrell are teaming up to bring you works for four pianos including a little classical, a little Broadway, and a whole lot of fun.  The evening includes singing and dancing by Academy theatre students.

All performances are held in the Breedlove Auditorium and begin at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $12 for each concert, or you may purchase the complete season for $20. To order tickets, please call the Distinguished Artists Series Box Office at (479) 788-7300.  You may also purchase tickets online at http://ticketsage.com/uafs/.  A credit card is needed for online ticket purchases.  Tickets will also be available at the door.
