University Student Ambassadors
The University Student Ambassadors are a group of students who assist the Admissions Office in representing UAFS. These student leaders are one of the first lines of communication prospective students encounter during the admissions process. The University Student Ambassadors provide great insight into campus life, degree programs, and what UAFS has to offer.
What We Do
The University Student Ambassadors are a highly respected and dedicated group of diverse students whose main priorities are:
- Establishing personal connections with prospective students
- Participating in events hosted by the Admissions Office and various other campus events
- Organizing various community service projects
The organization allows students to develop their leadership abilities, while representing the UAFS community.
Events
The University Student Ambassadors assist the Admissions Office with:
- Daily Campus Tours
- Senior and Junior Den Day
- Accompany Admission Representatives at college fairs and high school visits
- Ushering at Season of Entertainment Events
- Welcoming students at New Student Orientation
Community Service
Part of being a University Student Ambassador is giving back to the community. As a way of fulfilling the need to give back to the community, the University Student Ambassadors participate in various volunteer activities. Throughout the course of the year the Ambassadors visit each of the Fort Smith Boys and Girls Clubs. Each semester the University Student Ambassadors organize a collection drive to help serve a community need.
