Ten things you should know about Theatre@UAFS

  1. We offer bachelor's degrees in Acting/Directing and Design/Technology.

  2. We produce five to six productions each year from many different genres, including musical, drama, comedy, and Shakespeare.

  3. We are one of the only schools in the nation to continually present original work.

  4. We are a Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival (KC/ACTF) participant every year.

  5. We are the only school in Arkansas to earn National KC/ACTF awards in the last five years.

  6. We are the only school in the region to be invited to perform at the KC/ACTF Regional Festival four times in the last seven years.

  7. Our auditions are open to all students, regardless of major.

  8. Our Theatre Arts minor is the perfect complement to many degree fields that require creativity, public speaking, or teamwork.

  9. All of our students receive training in both Acting/Directing and Design/Technology.

  10. Most of our former students are now in graduate schools and working professionally in the industry.
