The Information Technology faculty of the Center for Business and Professional Development at UA fort Smith are all authorized and certified instructors in their areas of expertise and are all professional educators. When you enroll in a class taught by a member of our Information Technology team, you will be gaining the most current and relevant information and certification courses offered in Business Technology, Web Business Marketing, College Credit Courses or Noncredit Microsoft Office Courses.

Introduction to PC's for the Workplace
This 4-hour class is for anyone new to computers and will cover only the basics. Introduction to hardware, input devices such as a mouse, keyboard, monitor and printers, protecting your computer against viruses, basic email, and managing data are included in the topics covered.

This one-credit hour college level course will teach you design and development of relational databases using intermediate-level Microsoft Access. Topics include data normalization and related tables, creation of forms using
combo boxes and calculated controls, creation of data-access pages, and creating of reports using calculated controls. Prerequisites for this course are ITA 1201 Computer Database or WFL 1631 Data Fundamentals Using Microsoft Access or consent of the instructor.
