UAFS College of Business faculty use the newest technologies to transform the way business students learn. Students in Dr. George Schmidt’s senior-level Accounting Information Systems class use iPads to make and share electronic notes in their e-textbooks. With Dr. Schmidt’s guidance, student teams teach from their e-books to their classmates, creating a dynamic and interactive peer-learning experience. This College of Business initiative allows students to be active participants in their education and leverages tablet technology while lowering textbook costs.
