Chancellor's Coalition for the Visual Arts

With the creation of the Chancellor's Coalition for the Visual Arts, the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith took on the role of leader in the development of a public venue for the exhibition and collection of works of art that benefit its students and the people of the greater Fort Smith region.
Visit Our New Galleries
One of the first acts of the Coalition was to designate three public art galleries on the UA Fort Smith campus. The Mary Tinnin Jaye Gallery is located in the Fullerton Administration Building. The Sally Boreham Gallery is located on the second floor of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center. The Traveling Art Exhibit Gallery is located on the main concourse of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center, just outside the Reynolds Room.
Embracing the Arts
To maintain the galleries and acquire new works of art, the University needs the financial help of individuals, organizations, and businesses that are interested in the visual arts. Contributions provide critical, unrestricted funding for the daily operations of the galleries, assist with the procurement of new works of art, and provide broad support for the University's visual arts programs.
An Invitation to Join the Gallery Circle
The Chancellor's Coalition for the Visual Arts invites you to become a Member of the Gallery Circle by making a gift of $1,000 or more to the Foundation in support of the visual arts. Any individual wishing to support the visual arts at a level less than $1,000 will be recognized as a Friend of the CCVA. All gifts are important and welcome. To make your gift, call (479) 788-7020 or email foundation@uafs.edu.
