Special Initiatives
The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Foundation is engaged in a variety of special fundraising initiatives. Among them are efforts to support construction and outfitting of the new Learning and Research Center at Boreham Library, to create a special endowment to honor UAFS’s tradition of teaching excellence as embodied by the late professor Lucille Speakman, to help purchase outdoor sculpture for the UAFS campus, and to collect and exhibit works of visual art on campus for the benefit of students and the community.
