Greek Life

EST. 2007
Be a part of the newest tradition at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith.
Join a fraternity or sorority and create a legacy that lasts a lifetime.
GO GREEK!
The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith celebrates the addition of Greek Life as another opportunity for students to become involved in campus activities.
Four organizations founded Greek Life at UAFS in spring 2007. We now boast seven fraternal organizations with more on the way. Currently, Greek Life at UAFS consists of four sororities, three fraternities, three governing councils, all Greek honor society, and its very own Programming Board.
A strong foundation of leadership, service, scholarship, and fellowship has been developed and will continue to grow. The men and women that comprise the UAFS Greek community are bonded together by these common interests and goals.
Why should you be a fraternity or sorority member at UAFS?
We show a 2.68 semester GPA average which is above the 2.59 campus average. We averaged more than 2,000 community service hours in fall 2009, and raised over $5,000 in philanthropic money this past year. We also maintain more leadership roles than any other student organizations at UAFS. To be Greek is to make yourself better and build a sense of values to help you throughout life.
