With the holidays over and the New Year beginning, the possibility for inclement weather exists. The university has procedures in place to let you know if it becomes necessary to cancel classes or close the campus.
When Waldron High School students Hannah Hale and Amy Teerath were tasked with making a documentary on a political topic, they deviated from covering the normal controversial subjects. Instead, they chose a topic they’ve been considering more and more as they grow closer to graduating high school: college affordability.
The Campus Activities Board at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith will host the 12th annual Battle of the Bands at 7 p.m. March 3 in the Breedlove Auditorium, featuring local bands competing for cash prizes.

The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith is the first venue in the state to host “Arkansas Women to Watch 2016: Organic Matters,” an art exhibition featuring prominent female artists from across the state. The exhibit will run until Feb. 26.

A classic adventure novel and its movie adaptation will be the subject of Theatre @ UAFS’ latest theatrical performances held Feb. 11-15 as part of the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith’s Season of Entertainment 35.
