The Kennedy Center’s American College Theater Festival for the state of Arkansas will be held Oct. 22-25 on the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith campus, featuring productions by college theater programs from across Arkansas and Oklahoma.
More than 20 classrooms in area schools will host University of Arkansas – Fort Smith professors for the university’s second year of the Adopt-a-Professor program, an educational outreach initiative coordinated by the Education Renewal Zone at UAFS.

The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith has announced the schedule for this year’s homecoming events slated to run from Oct. 19-24. Events include a pep rally, volleyball game, bonfire, parade, and tailgate.

Students from the Chancellor’s Leadership Council at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, in partnership with the Sebastian County Humane Society, will help raise awareness about animal cruelty and neglect at an event held from 3-6 p.m. Oct. 7 in the Lion’s Den courtyard.
