The Center for Lifelong Learning at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith has released its schedule of 16 classes, talks and trips for the May and June months.

"At the Center, we are always looking for classes that engage, challenge and educate our students," CLL Director Jeff Adams of Fort Smith said. "Our May and June schedule offers classes that achieve these purposes. I think it's going to be a great start to the summer."

The May and June classes include:

May 1: "Jewelry Making: Advanced Clay," 6 p.m., $55.

May 1-22: "Imagination Series: InDesign," 6-8 p.m., Thursdays, $55.

May 3: "Silk Scarf," 9 a.m.-1 p.m., $65.

May 3: "Cooking: Find it at the Market," 8 a.m.-12 p.m., $50.

May 6: "Keyboard/Mouse," 5-6 p.m., $10.

May 6-27: "Computer Basics Level 1," 6-8 p.m., Tuesdays, $55.

May 7: "East Fit: Exercise Without Knowing It!," 1 p.m., $7.

May 10: "Cooking: Bring to the Party," 9 a.m.-1 p.m., $50.

May 12-June 9: "Digital Photography 3: People and Faces, Portrait Photography," 6-8 p.m., Mondays, $60.

May 12-June 9: "Spanish Intermediate," 6-8 p.m., Mondays, $50.

May 22: "Travel: Show Boat Branson Belle," 8 a.m., $115. Registration deadline is June 2.

May 24-31: "eBay for Fun and Profit," 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturdays, $55.

May 31: "Cooking: Indulging in Cheesecake," 9 a.m.-1 p.m., $50.

June 9-12: "Computer Basics Level 2," 6-8 p.m., $55.

June 19: "Travel: Subiaco Abbey," 10 a.m., $80. Registration deadline is May 8.

June 23-27: "Pro-Photo 1: Learn the Business," 6-8 p.m., $95.

The classes are part of nearly 100 offerings the center has for the spring semester. The CLL also offers a number of classes through a UAFS partnership with Ed2Go, which provides online educational opportunities.
