A Pulitzer Prize-winning novel that kick-started a Native American literary movement has been selected as the book for this year’s Read This! program, a community book read sponsored by the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith.

The Campus Activities Board at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith will host the 12th annual Battle of the Bands at 7 p.m. March 3 in the Breedlove Auditorium, featuring local bands competing for cash prizes.
Faculty members and students of the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith’s Academy of the Arts will perform Broadway Our Way at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26 in Breedlove Auditorium as part of the Academy’s On Stage Series.
The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith is the first venue in the state to host “Arkansas Women to Watch 2016: Organic Matters,” an art exhibition featuring prominent female artists from across the state. The exhibit will run until Feb. 26.
