his building was built in 1976 and named the Shelby Breedlove Fine Arts Building in honor of Shelby Breedlove, who served as a college president form 1968 to 1974. The building received a major facelift in 1994.
The auditorium is occasionally used for large classes, but primarily is used for college and community cultural activities, public hearing, ceremonies, etc. The back of the building houses the Music and Humanities departments. It includes offices, classrooms, soundproof rehearsal rooms, a large rehearsal room, and the carillon computer studio.
