Kaci SingerFort Smith residents have seen Paperwerk get its start with hand-painted cards and notepads at Brick City Emporium and watched as it grew into its location at 3000 Old Greenwood Road where additional inventory and calligraphy workshops were held.

Now, this popular stationery and gift boutique can be found at 908 S. Greenwood Ave., where it has expanded not only its inventory, but workshop opportunities as well.

UAFS alumna and owner Kaci Singer said the relocation is the result of a demand for a larger space to accommodate more shoppers, more capacity for workshops and to display more inventory.

“Our new location has an upstairs and downstairs and is twice the size of our old location,” Singer said. “This additional space will allow me to offer more workshops, custom options for gifts, custom invitations and hold a lot more inventory.”

In this new space, Singer will offer a monthly workshop with all supplies included, snack and a discount for store items.

Upcoming workshops include and a Calligraphy Workshop in November.

Singer credits her success to her loyal customers.

“I am so humbled by this move and I am blown away by the support from my loyal customers. This was a huge step in the right direction for and I am more than happy to serve Fort Smith and the surrounding area.”

In addition to her customers, Singer said being raised by two small business owners has definitely played a role in her success.

“My mom is always helpful when I don’t know where to put things or how to decorate my space,” Singer said. “My dad is like my personal financial advisor. What do I do with this money? How do I pay my bills? Those are just a few of the many questions I have went to him with, especially starting out.”
