The Associate of Applied Science in general technology - automotive is designed to
train entry level automotive technicians. Automotive technology students learn the
skills needed to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair automotive components and
complex vehicle computer systems. Successful completion of the program can lead to
certification by the National Institute for Automotive Services Excellence (ASE).
The Automotive Technology program is certified by the ASE Education Foundation.
