This modular approach allows you to tailor your curriculum to better fit your career goals and provides you with the hands-on experience you’ll need to stand out in this competitive career field. The coursework is also tiered so that you can earn additional credentials, making you even more valuable to employers.

Business Economics
This 12-hour module is recommended for students who seek careers as economic analysts, consultants, and researchers. Courses include Micro- and Macroeconomic Analysis, International and Managerial Economics, Money and Banking, and International Finance. 
 
Corporate Finance
This 12-hour module is recommended for students who seek careers as commercial or mortgage lenders and budget or financial analysts. Courses include Financial Statement Analysis, Money and Banking, International Finance, Capital Budgeting, Advanced Financial Management. 
 
Investments

This 12-hour module is recommended for students seeking careers as financial advisors and planners. Courses include Investments, Management of Financial Institutions, Principles of Portfolio Management, and Derivative Securities and Markets.

 

Certificates of Proficiency

This 9-hour program provides you with foundational coursework in financial statement analysis, capital budgeting, and advanced financial management. All hours earned with this credential transfer into the B.B.A. program. A GPA of 3.0 is required for these courses. 
 
This 9-hour program provides you with fundamental knowledge in micro- and macroeconomics as well as managerial economics. All hours earned with this credential transfer into the B.B.A. program. A GPA of 3.0 is required for these courses. 
 
International Financial Economics
This 9-hour program provides you with fundamental coursework in international economics; money, banking, and financial markets; and international finance. All hours earned with this credential transfer into the B.B.A. program. A GPA of 3.0 is required for these courses. 
 
This 9-hour program provides you with foundational coursework in investments, principles of portfolio management, and derivative securities and markets. All hours earned with this credential transfer into the B.B.A. program. A GPA of 3.0 is required for these courses.
