Update: 10:42 a.m. -- UAFS police and administration are working closely with local law-enforcement agencies to ensure safety of our campus. We will prepare an update to be sent no later than noon today. 

Until that time, please take any necessary precaution to ensure your own personal safety. We will keep the campus closed for the remainder of the day. All campus activities scheduled on the main campus for today, including classes and labs, are cancelled. 

Update: 10:08 a.m. -- Evacuation is due to a bomb threat. The threat has not been deemed credible but UAFS treats all threats as credible. All classes on the main campus are cancelled for Friday, August 21, 2026. 

Alert: 9:23 a.m. -- Campus evacuation is taking place immediately due to a bomb threat (not deemed to be credible yet). Please clear all areas. Campus housing residents should shelter in place in their apartments and residence halls.
Do NOT return to your offices or classrooms to retrieve personal items.
