The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith will host its Fall 2026 All Majors Career Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Reynolds Room of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center. UAFS students and alumni who attend the All Majors Career Fair will be connected with regional and national employers, community organizations, and graduate schools.

A total of 40 companies and graduate schools from Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and nationwide will be in attendance representing industries including healthcare, education, manufacturing, public service, finance, and technology, with internship, part-time roles, and full-time job opportunities across all majors.

Susan Krafft, executive director of the Babb Center for Career Services said this will be the first All Majors Career Fair since the university transitioned to Handshake, a digital platform to connect students discover, explore, and find jobs, which brought next employers to the event in addition to those returning.

“We hope students take advantage of this opportunity to build their professional network and explore,” Krafft said. “There is nothing better than seeing and hearing connections being made at this event each semester.”

Krafft said students and alumni should be prepared to meet with as many companies and organizations as they’d like. She encourages them to wear a business casual outfit, have plenty of resumes, and a smile.

The first 100 students who attend the All Majors Career Fair will receive a free long-sleeve UAFS t-shirt, and all attendees will be entered to win one of two prizes, announced on Monday, Oct. 12.

The All-Majors Career Fair is presented by ArcBest/ArcBest Technologies. Platinum Sponsors are Rheem and Mars Petcare. Gold Sponsors include Arvest Bank, CED Industrial Solutions, Owens Corning, and Choctaw Casino & Resort.
