UAFS to Award Nearly 650 Degrees at May 16 Commencement Ceremonies

The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith will recognize almost 650 graduates across three commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 16, at the Stubblefield Center.

The first ceremony begins at 10 a.m. and will honor 206 graduates from the College of Health, Education, and Human Sciences. At 1 p.m., the university will celebrate 209 graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences. The day will conclude with the 4 p.m. ceremony recognizing 234 graduates from the College of Business and Industry.

In total, UAFS will confer seven master's degrees, 416 bachelor's degrees, 171 associate degrees and 55 technical certificates. Several Western Arkansas Technical Center (WATC) students, some as young as 16, will receive technical certificates. The oldest graduate this spring is 64.

Parking will be available in all campus lots, excluding areas immediately adjacent to the Stubblefield center, which will be reserved for disability parking. Each ceremony will be livestreamed on the UAFS YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@UniversityofArkansasFortSmith.
