Two student organizations at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith are hosting a 5K run/walk in February to contribute to a fund for a hospitalized UAFS student.

 

The Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society and the Collegiate Middle Level Association at UAFS are coordinating the 5K, which will start at 9 a.m. Feb. 28 south of the bell tower on campus. Registration for the event will begin at 8 a.m., and the cost is $15 for ages 4-12 and $20 for teens and adults.

 

The proceeds of the 5K will go towards a fund to help pay the medical bills of a UAFS student who was seriously injured in a car accident in late December.
