Fourteen students and two faculty members in the School of Education at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith have been inducted into the Alpha Beta Omega chapter of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education during an initiation ceremony that also recognized senior members of the society. Five members were also presented graduation cords.
The audience enjoyed keynote speaker, Dr. Monica Riley, interim executive director of the School of Education.

Inola, Okla.: Kristen Mootry, new member.
Lavaca: Michelle D. Werschem, new member.
Malvern: Mallori Youngman, new member.
Mansfield: Madeline Rose, new member.
Van Buren: Thomas Ceola, new member; Ana Carla Cruz, new member; Emily Haley, new member; Dr. Cheryl Lehman, faculty and new member; and Savannah Shores, new member.
This year's officers include Jennifer Hosley of Greenwood, president; Megan McGee of Lavaca, vice president; Caroline Fimpel of Arkoma, OK, secretary; Natasha Elmore of Hackett, treasurer; and Leslie Bremner of Lavaca, historian and publicist.
