Twenty-eight local children will participate in the Miss UAFS Scholarship Pageant Feb. 24 through the Princess/Prince Program, a non-competitive program allowing children ages 5-10 to take part in pageant festivities.

 

Each participant will meet Miss UAFS 2017, receive a T-shirt, goodie bag and a tiara or medallion. They will also make three onstage appearances during the Miss UAFS Pageant. Activities also include a tea party with Miss UAFS and Miss Arkansas.

 

Princesses and princes this year are:

 

Alma: Hailey Cottrell, 9, daughter of Lance Cottrell and Heather Chance and David Chance and Chelsea Cottrell; Destine Chance, 5, daughter of David Chance and Amy Smith and Heather Chance; Hadleigh Marie Miller, 8, daughter of Michael Miller and Dawna Dunn and Mandy Miller and William Dunn; and Jax Nelson, 6, son of James and Anna Nelson;

 

Barling: Brinnley Adams, 10, daughter of James and Anna Nelson;

 

Booneville: Ayden Rhinehart, 7, son of Ann Allisson and Craig Rhinehart and Tiffany Rhinehart and Shawn Allison.
