“A Grand Night for Singing,” the final show of Season of Entertainment 37 at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith, will take place at 7:30 p.m. May 1 at the ArcBest Performing Arts Center at the Fort Smith Convention Center, located at 55 S. 7th St.

 

The performance will feature the UAFS Women’s Chorus and Concert Chorale performing a mixture of contemporary choral favorites and Broadway musical show tunes, with tunes including “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “Superstition” and “A Noiseless Patient Spider.” The concert will be directed by Dr. Timothy Workman, director of choral activities at UAFS. Terri Bailey and Gini Law will serve as collaborative pianists, and Katy Featherston and N’Sound from Northside High School will be special guests.

 

The concert is part of Season of Entertainment 37, a yearlong lineup of entertainment sponsored by the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith featuring a variety of plays, musicals and symphonic performances.
