Political Lion Series to Host Gubernatorial Candidates
The UAFS Democracy Project and the UAFS Political Science Department will be hosting a virtual town hall with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dr. Anthony Bland tomorrow, Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at noon.
This is the first in a series of virtual town halls that the UAFS Democracy Project
will be hosting with all the declared candidates for Arkansas Governor.
All declared candidates for Arkansas Governor have been invited to this (virtual) Political
Lion townhall series, and events will be scheduled and announced as the candidates
confirm their availability.
Bland will discuss who he is, what motivated him to run for governor, his vision for Arkansas, and his priorities if elected governor. Bland will be answering these questions as he also stresses the importance of civic engagement.
