Student Research Symposium Slated April 8

The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith’s 15th Annual Student Research Symposium will take place from noon to 2 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2022, with oral and poster presentations in the Pendergraft Health Sciences Center and Boreham Library on the UAFS campus.

The student research being presented at this year’s symposium spans across disciplines and is open to undergraduate and graduate students in any year of study.

“Our faculty and staff are committed to fostering an environment that promotes not only learning but also enlightenment,” says UAFS Provost Dr. Georgia Hale in the symposium program. “Our students have accepted the challenge, explored unique areas of research, and synthesized their results in the form of lectures, studio art, demonstrations, posters, and performances. These presentations represent the academic diversity of UAFS’s programs and the intellectual excellence of our students.”
