Campus Update, March 21, 2025

Written By: Terisa Riley

Dear colleagues and students,

As we head into Spring Break, I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for all the hard work, dedication, and passion you bring to our university each day. Whether you are a student wrapping up midterms, a faculty member guiding and inspiring minds, or a staff member ensuring the smooth operation of our campus, your contributions are truly valued.

Spring Break is a time to rest, recharge, and reconnect. I encourage you to take this opportunity to step away from your daily routine, spend time with loved ones, and engage in activities that bring you joy. If you are traveling, please do so safely, and if you are staying on campus or nearby, I hope you find time to relax or to work ahead on assignments...doing so will make the last few weeks of the semester so much easier.

Best of luck to our tennis and baseball teams competing during the week of spring break!

As a reminder, the university will be closed on Friday, March 28.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the remainder of the semester. Until then, take care and have a wonderful break!

As always, I am honored to be your chancellor.

Terisa Riley
