Alumni Volunteer Interest Form 

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the UAFS Alumni Office! Our volunteers make an impact on our campus and, more importantly, on our students’ experiences. Whether you graduated from Fort Smith Jr. College, Westark, or UAFS, we’re grateful for your willingness to stay connected and give back to the next generation of Lions. 

Volunteer opportunities vary widely, but typically fall into a few categories: 

• Career readiness
  • Examples: allowing students to job shadow you, participating in practice interviews 
• Event planning and execution
  • Examples: event preparation, outreach, organization, creative input; setup, check-in, guest engagement, activities, and teardown. 
• Mentorship
  • Examples: participate in our Mentor Connections Program, connect with a student seeking opportunities in your field to offer advice and feedback, being a Cub Camp Namesake 
• Speaking
  • Examples: classrooms, skills workshops for student organizations, rotating speaker series, panels 

Please know that volunteer opportunities may not be available immediately after submitting this form. However, our team will work to connect you with opportunities that best align with your interests, experience, and areas of expertise as needs arise.
