Bryan Alexis received his Bachelor of Arts in graphic design from Southern Arkansas University and holds a Master of Arts in graphic design from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and Master of Fine Arts in visual design from the University of Arkansas. Bryan has worked at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith since 2006 teaching graphic, web, motion, creative, and advertising design. He has taught graphic design and has worked as a graphic designer in various capacities, from freelance to art director, since 1995. Bryan was born in DeLeon, Texas, and raised in Louisiana. He now lives in Fort Smith. In 2015 he created a mural for the Unexpected Project in Fort Smith, which launched him into the world of painting large-scale public works of art. Since then he has produced more than 34 murals in Arkansas and Oklahoma, some as large as 3,700 square feet.
