John Bennett is a Native-American, first-generation college student and Army Infantry veteran. After spending 12 years in the Army, John worked in various industries in the River Valley before finding a home in higher education where he currently serves as the assistant director for the TRIO SSS program at UAFS. John has presented at the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators' annual conference on Student Success in Higher Education and has been published in the International Journal of Education and Research.
