Dr. Erik Carlson is a professor of English. He has taught courses on writing, the history of the English language, grammar, world literature, British literature, and Chaucer in addition to special topics courses on Arthurian legend, apocalyptic literature, and the sagas and myths of northern Europe. He has published articles on early Medieval languages, literature, and theology with a special focus on Old English, Latin, Gothic, and the history of emotions.
