Caleb Cash-Tobey has served as the assistant director of scholarships in the Financial Aid and Veterans Benefits Office since March 2025. In this role he awards more than $3 million in scholarships to deserving students, taking the time to match each student with the appropriate scholarship. Additionally, he meets with students to help foster an understanding of the financial aid process and how best to fund their education. Before joining the Financial Aid team, Caleb served as the associate director of development with the UAFS Foundation, connecting the Fort Smith community with UAFS. Prior to UAFS Caleb was the associate director of student engagement at the University of Central Oklahoma where he oversaw orientation, parent and family programs, and major campus programming, including homecoming, BronchoThon, the Student Programming Board, and student organizations.

Caleb is deeply passionate about the transformative power of higher education and believes in ensuring that all students have access to these opportunities. As a first-generation college student, he personally understands the impact of a college degree on students and their families. Caleb is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in educational leadership with a concentration in higher education administration. His research centers on the resources that influence queer student retention and how universities can better support this student population.
