Assistant Professor Madison Dickerson, MSW, LCSW, holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and is a licensed certified social worker in the state of Arkansas. She has been a full-time faculty member and director of field education at UAFS since fall 2021. She is also the faculty co-advisor for the Social Work Network student organization on campus. Prior to coming into academia, Madison worked mainly in direct practice with individuals experiencing homelessness during her master’s program and afterwards, as well as the geriatric population and all individuals from any demographic needing resources. Madison actively participates on and off campus educating the community about social work, self-care, and the day-to-day issues that collegiate student-athletes face.
