Leslie Rylee, MSN, RN, NE-BC, is an instructor for the Carolyn McKelvey Moore School of Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within the College of Health, Education, and Human Sciences at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. She has worked for the university since 2022.

With more than 18 years of experience as a registered nurse, Rylee has worked in pediatric nursing, medical/surgical nursing, dialysis, outpatient primary care and specialty clinics, nursing leadership, and nurse education. She has a passion for developing new nurses with a continual focus on patient safety and clinical outcomes. She enjoys implementing strategies to problem solve with an emphasis on process improvement and student growth. 

Rylee strives to develop and utilize evidence-based practice into her teaching. Her primary goal is to ensure new graduate nurses are prepared to enter the workforce with a proficiency in health education, a compassionate attitude, clinical confidence, and clear expectations of the nursing role.
