Tammy Schaefer has been a surgical technologist since May 2001 and has had the privilege of experiencing a wide variety of surgical cases. Utilizing her extensive experience and education, she has been dedicated to teaching incoming surgical technology students at UAFS since the spring of 2012. As a clinical coordinator, she takes great pride in mentoring and helping students learn the profession, aiming to create top-notch fellow surgical technologists. Her passion lies in fostering the growth and development of future professionals in the field, ensuring they are well prepared for the demands and rewards of a career in surgery.
