Sydney Cook is a higher education professional with a strong background in strategic
communication, student support, and digital engagement. She holds a Master of Science
in strategic communication from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts in
media communication with a minor in criminal justice from the University of Arkansas
– Fort Smith. During her time at UAFS, she was active in campus media and student
organizations, earning recognition on the Dean’s List and completing the UAFS Distinction
in Professional Development Certificate – Gold Level.
She currently serves as the executive assistant in the Office of the Chancellor, supporting
executive operations, communication efforts, and campus-wide coordination. Her previous
experience includes serving as program assistant and social media manager for TRIO
STEM Student Support Services, where she led digital content creation, student engagement
initiatives, and program administration. Earlier roles in the UAFS Registrar’s Office
helped build her foundation in academic operations, contributing to her commitment
to organizational excellence and student success.
