Dr. Dennis Williams is an assistant professor of criminal justice who received his Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Oklahoma in 2008. He teaches courses related to criminology, victimology, child maltreatment, the death penalty, hate crimes, and criminal justice internships as well as various other courses. Dr. Williams’ research interests include racial and ethnic disparities within the criminal justice system, the application of the death penalty, and the development of hate groups.
