Campus Closure: Severe Weather
The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith will close at 1 p.m. today, May 19, due to a high-impact severe weather threat forecasted for the region, expected to begin at 2 p.m. in our region, continuing through 3 a.m.
All remaining in-person events and activities scheduled for this afternoon and evening are canceled. Exterior doors will be locked, and the campus will be closed to ensure the safety of students, employees, and visitors.
