Learn to create meaningful and engaging online interactions with a Certificate of Proficiency in user experience.

This 9-credit-hour interdisciplinary program blends skill sets in writing, graphic design, and media production, enabling students to pursue employment in this growing field that helps make technology easier to use for people. This Certificate of Proficiency prepares students for jobs in web development, digital design, user experience, and technical writing.

 

Program Learning Outcomes

Students who complete the Certificate of Proficiency in user experience will be able to:
  • identify and evaluate the aesthetic content of interactive experiences within a specific historical, cultural, and/or communicative context.
  • produce focused, well-organized, developed, and edited web-based documents.
