Fall Choral Showcase
Join us for an inspiring season opener featuring the Leonis Chamber Singers, Leo Solis Treble Choir, and Leo Fortis Tenor and Bass Choir under the direction of Dr. Timothy Workman. Showcasing a diverse range of choral literature, these outstanding student ensembles will present music spanning a variety of styles, traditions, and expression. Through their artistry and musicianship, they will launch the concert season with energy and creativity. Wind Ensemble
The UAFS Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Alexandra Zacharella, showcases the region’s finest student musicians in performances that combine artistic excellence, innovation, and expressive power. The Heidi Chronicles, by Wendy Wasserstein
Wendy Wasserstein’s Pulitzer Prize-winning "The Heidi Chronicles" follows the life of Heidi Holland, an intelligent, ambitious art historian navigating the rapidly changing social landscape of America from the 1960s through the 1980s. Through a series of poignant, witty, and deeply human episodes, Heidi searches for personal fulfillment while balancing career aspirations, friendships, love, and evolving expectations of women in modern society.
As the women’s movement reshapes cultural norms, Heidi and the people around her confront questions of identity, success, relationships, and what it truly means to live an authentic life. Filled with humor, warmth, and emotional depth, the story explores the triumphs and challenges of a generation while remaining strikingly relevant to audiences today.
A moving and insightful portrait of one woman’s journey toward self-discovery, "The Heidi Chronicles" is a compelling celebration of resilience, friendship, and the enduring quest for connection and purpose.

Jazz Band
Join us for an evening of exciting jazz featuring a diverse selection of music spanning swing, Latin, blues, and more. Performed by the UAFS Jazz Band, under the direction of Dr. Brant Blackard, this high-energy concert will showcase outstanding student musicians, including featured soloists throughout the program. Filled with rhythm, creativity, and improvisation, this concert promises something for everyone to enjoy.

Jazz Catz (Vocal Jazz)
Join us for an evening of outstanding vocal jazz as the UAFS Jazz Catz, under the direction of Don Bailey, presents a vibrant program spanning jazz standards, blues, classic rock and pop, ballads, Latin favorites, and more. Accompanied by a professional-style rhythm section, this talented 10-member vocal ensemble will showcase the versatility and artistry of contemporary vocal jazz. Orchestra
Join the UAFS Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Pecos Singer, for an inspiring evening of symphonic music featuring beloved masterworks alongside hidden gems from the orchestral repertoire. Season's Greetings Concert
In a longstanding tradition, the UAFS Department of Music and Theatre will present a seasonal concert featuring some of the season’s favorite and most well-known music. Every major musical ensemble in the department is featured, ending with a collaboration of all the ensembles and the audience in the traditional sing-a-long.
