Registrar's Office

Lions ID is the official UAFS ID for students and eligible employees. It is available as a physical ID card and, on supported devices, as a Mobile ID.

The Lions ID card provides you with all of the rights and privileges that come with your status as a student at UAFS, including:

  • Event Access - Use this card for entrance to Athletic and campus entertainment events.

  • Facilities Access - Use this card to gain access to select campus facilities. 

  • Computer Labs/Printing - Use this card to gain access to UAFS's 24/7 computer labs and on-campus printing. Students receive a $10 credit per semester on their card for use at printing labs.
     
  • Student Health Center - Eligible students receive access to the UAFS Powell Student Health Clinic.

  • University Library Services - Use this card to check out materials from and gain after-hours access to UAFS's Boreham Library.

  • Recreation and Wellness Center (RAWC) - Use this card to gain access to UAFS's Recreation and Wellness Center.

  • Student Counseling Center - Eligible students with this ID can receive up to eight sessions per year at no additional charge. 

The Lions ID card may, at the cardholder's option, be used to pay for various goods and services on campus and at participating off-campus vendors through Lions Cash.

Physical ID and Mobile ID

Lions ID is available as a physical ID card and, on supported devices, as a Mobile ID. Eligible users can add Mobile ID and still keep and use their physical card. Visit the Mobile ID Setup and FAQ page for setup instructions, a list of supported devices, and troubleshooting help. 

Physical ID

Your physical Lions ID card is issued through the Registrar's Office and can be used across campus for identification and access to eligible services. Your first Lions ID card is free. A replacement fee applies for additional cards. 

Mobile ID

On supported devices, eligible users can add Lions ID as a Mobile ID. Mobile ID offers another convenient way to use your UAFS ID on campus. 

Get Your Lions ID

To receive your first physical ID card, visit the Registrar's Office on the second floor of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center. Bring a government-issued ID such as a driver's license, military ID, passport, or another official photo ID. Your first Lions ID card is free. 

Lost, Stolen, or Replacement ID

If your Lions ID card is lost or stolen, report it immediately through your Lions ID account so it can be deactivated. Replacement cards are available through the Registrar's Office. After paying the replacement fee at the Cashier's Office, bring your receipt to the Registrar's Office to have a replacement card printed.

The photo for your Lions ID card is taken and the card is printed at the Registrar’s Office, located on the second floor of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center.
 
Except for designated holidays, the Registrar’s Office hours are as follows:
 
  • Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A driver's license, military ID, passport, or another government-issued ID card must be presented at the Registrar’s Office when the card is made.

There is no cost for the first Lions ID card. A fee is charged for any replacement card thereafter. The card is valid for the entire period that the student attends the university. 

Immediately report your card lost or stolen so that the card can be deactivated. Report your card lost or stolen by logging in to your Lions ID Account.
  1. Click on Account.
  2. Click on Deactivate Card.
  3. Click on the Deactivate Card button.
  4. Pay the replacement fee at the Cashier’s Office.
  5. Bring the receipt to the Registrar’s Office to have the replacement card printed

Replacement cards are available at the Registrar’s Office on the second floor of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center. A replacement fee, payable at the Cashier's Office, is required for each replacement card. Once paid, the receipt should be brought to the Registrar’s Office to have the replacement card printed.
