General Technology - Welding - Associate of Applied Science (AAS)

The Associate of Applied Science in General Technology - Welding at UAFS equips students with essential skills for both structural and high-pressure vessel welding.

The curriculum covers fundamental and advanced techniques in Arc, MIG, and TIG welding, emphasizing practical applications in fabrication, layout, and blueprint reading. With hands-on training in state-of-the-art welding labs, students gain the technical expertise needed to meet industry standards and excel in various welding-related careers.

Aligned with American Welding Society (AWS) standards, this program prepares graduates for roles such as welding fabricator, supervisor, or pipe welder in manufacturing, construction, and industrial settings. In addition to welding proficiency, students develop problem-solving skills and technical knowledge that make them highly sought after in the workforce.
