After many years of teaching as an adjunct faculty member at colleges in Pennsylvania and Illinois, Judi Hansen started teaching full time at Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky in 1987 and was appointed department chair in 1989-1990. In 1990 she moved with her family to Fort Smith and started teaching as an adjunct at Westark. In 1994 she started at the Times Record as a features writer, becoming a news reporter in 1996, city editor in 1997, and executive editor in 2010. She began working as the advancement editor at UAFS in 2016.
