Whether you're a seasoned HR professional or just entering the field, the Human Resource Management Certificate of Proficiency can help you elevate your career and strengthen your credentials. This 9-credit-hour certificate provides focused training in key areas of human resources, including employment law, strategic compensation, and staffing strategies. This certificate prepares you for the challenges of today’s evolving workplace. It equips you with practical, real-world skills in compliance, talent acquisition, and employee relations, making it ideal for individuals pursuing HR, management, or organizational leadership roles.

This certificate is among 14 concentrations available to students pursuing the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at UAFS. As part of the program, students work closely with academic advisors to select two concentrations from a list that includes human resource management, leadership, and supply chain management. Students select concentrations that align with their individual career goals. This dual-concentration structure allows students to personalize their degree while gaining a well-rounded education that enhances versatility in the job market. With this flexible approach, BBA students graduate with depth and breadth in their business knowledge, ready to immediately impact the workforce.

UAFS's unique Bachelor of Business Administration program allows students the flexibility to select concentrations tailored to their individual career goals. Working with their academic advisor students select two concentrations from a list of curriculum options designed to meet the demands of today's global business environment.
 

The BSOL program is designed for students who have completed at least 45 credit hours and wish to continue their education and advance in their career field. The flexible course options allow working adults, to draw upon knowledge from many disciplines and prepare them for positions in corporate, government, and industrial environments.

 

Suggested Minors

This 18-hour minor will strengthen your skills in professional writing, content creation, and editing, which will support your progress in any major or career field. The minor offer students advanced instruction in persuasion, writing, and editing for all professional situations. Students learn how to write, design, and edit in a variety of professional genres. The minor enhances the student’s academic experience while complementing work in publishing, advertising, marketing, business, education, and grant and non-profit work.

This 18-hour minor consists of a structured selection of courses by which you can enrich your academic preparation and complements a variety of majors by broadening the student’s academic experience.
 
This 18-credit hour minor is intended for non-majors interested in a basic understanding of the Spanish language and culture. Courses include Intermediate Spanish II, Spanish Grammar, and Advanced Composition.
