Test Proctoring
The Gordon Kelley Academic Success Center (ASC), located in Vines 202, offers test proctoring for UAFS students and UAFS applicants only. Exams the ASC can proctor include make-up exams, full-online and synchronous UAFS course exams, and third-party exams (e.g. Accuplacer, CLEP, and Challenge Exams). The ASC does not proctor Smarter Proctoring or Examity remote tests.
Faculty Forms
UAFS faculty who wish for the ASC to proctor make-up exams or full-online and synchronous UAFS course exams must complete an ASC Proctor Request Exam Intake Form to provide us with all necessary information for test administration at least 72 hours before the scheduled test dates. All forms must either be emailed to ASCFREEuafs or dropped off in Vines 202. Tests must also be brought to the ASC prior to the testing dates. (The ASC will not print off emailed exams.)
Testing Center FAQs
The ASC recommends students schedule here at least three (3) days in advance of their desired testing date as testing hours can vary.
Depending on availability, students who do not have an appointment can do a drop in for testing, but are not guaranteed a seat.
All changes to exam times must be made prior to the time of your exam. To reschedule an exam, you can follow the instructions located on the registration page.
Students who miss their exam time will be subject to extra fees when attempting to reschedule.
For all tests you will need to present a valid photo ID for check-in. Examples include, but are not limited to, a drivers license, student ID, passport, and military ID.
You will not need a calculator, scratch paper, or writing utensils. In the case where such items are required by a professor, the testing center will provide them for you. Any extra materials are subject to professor discretion.
Once you arrive at the testing center in Vines 202, check in will take place at the front desk. After presenting a valid photo ID, you will be asked to turn off your phone, place all items into a designated locker, and do a brief security check in that is included, but not limited to, checking pockets and inspecting glasses.
The ASC cannot proctor Smart Proctoring exams. For an on-campus Smarter Proctoring space, you can book a study room in the library. For more information on how to schedule a Smarter Proctoring exam, refer to the information on Online Testing Procedures or your class syllabus or instructor.
