Peer Tutoring
Peer tutors are UAFS students who have excelled in their courses and received a faculty recommendation. Tutoring is a free service available to all currently enrolled students at UAFS. Appointments can be made with tutors through Navigate.

Manuel Martinez
is an electrical engineering major at UAFS. This semester he is tutoring for Survey of Calculus, and Calculus I and II. Manuel loves the support he receives from faculty and staff at UAFS. He enjoys skateboarding, lifting weights, and running.

Paul Hackbarth
is an environmental geoscience major at UAFS. This semester, he is tutoring Physical Geology, Earth Science, College Physics I, and University Physics I and II. Paul thinks the UAFS campus is beautiful, and the students and teachers are great! He enjoys Tai Chi, eastern religions, and CIV 4 and 6 enneagram (a study of personality). A fun fact about Paul is that he was in high school in Dallas when President Kennedy was shot.

Binh Trinh
is a finance and investment major at UAFS. This semester, he is tutoring College Math, algebra, and statistics. Binh finds the UAFS campus clean and peaceful. He also feels that the people here are super nice. In his spare time, Binh enjoys working out in the RAWC and watching movies. Ask Binh about being a stockbroker in Vietnam.

Kristy Ortiz
is a biology major with a concentration in biomedical sciences. She enjoys the UAFS culture where every faculty and staff member is excited to help students grow and success. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family.

Viviana Preston
is a Spanish major at UAFS. Every summer she travels to Colombia to visit her family. In her free time, she enjoys sewing, cross-stitching, and scrapbooking.

Logan Millsap
is a history and political science tutor at the ASC. History and political science have been his twin loves for the longest time, and to be able to help students with them is an honor. He loves talking about anything from World War I to fighter jets and likes to imagine himself as a one-man newsstand. A not-insignificant amount of what he listens to, including coming to and from school and even the white noise he uses to fall asleep, is news podcasts. A fun fact about Logan is his favorite sport is baseball. He loves watching home games at Crowder Field and even went to a few Marshals games.
