Celebrated American novelist Colson Whitehead, known for his unmatched breadth of subject matter and his profound, impactful novels that boldly confront the ills of society, will be the first Winthrop Rockefeller Distinguished Lecturer at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith.
This year's Read This! selection is Whitehead's The Nickel Boys. Read This! will officially launch the book during a special campus event on Wednesday, January 25 at 5:30 p.m in Room 101 of the Baldor Technology Center.
The launch will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in-person. Registration is required to attend the Zoom livestream.
