Juliet Flanagan - Lion Voices

Written By: Jacob Howell

Happy Friday, Lions! Today’s #LionVoices feature is sophomore Media Communication major, Juliet Flanagan. Juliet is from Poteau, Oklahoma and currently a member of Lions for Christ and the Honors Program.

Juliet said the welcoming atmosphere of the campus is what swayed her decision to attend UAFS the most. “Everyone was so friendly, it felt like they cared about me as an individual and not just a number. The professors make learning easy and that makes me want to try harder.”

Juliet’s plans after graduation are to continue her education through a Master’s Degree program and then later work with news broadcasting or writing. “My professors are resourceful and always help me make connections and figure out what path I want to go down.”

Juliet said the inclusiveness and community of the entire UAFS campus is what makes her most proud to be a Lion. “I am really proud of how inclusive and friendly our campus is. It’s a place that makes everyone feel at home.”
