Build job-ready data skills in a short, focused program. This 12-credit-hour certificate is designed for aspiring analysts, business professionals, and problem-solvers who want to use data to make decisions. Through hands-on practice, you’ll learn the essentials employers ask for and can apply what you learn right away in class and at work.

You’ll clean and organize datasets, create clear charts and dashboards, and practice basic querying to answer real questions. You'll also be introduced to predictive techniques, using past data to make simple forecasts, so you understand how these tools work and when to use them in everyday business settings.

Computer science is a rapidly changing field that encompasses a broad range of topics such as software engineering, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, cybersecurity, and many others. Courses are offered in areas such as artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, user experience/UX testing, software engineering, and data science and analytics.
 

Suggested Minors

This 18-hour program will allow students to effectively conduct research and accurately interpret statistical reports in the media and in journal articles. It will further develop critical thinking and analytic skills. Students will gain experience with hands-on, real-world problems and be equipped with a broader foundation of statistical knowledge and techniques ensuring capable information management.

This 20-hour program provides general in-depth instruction for a broad and deep understanding of foundational concepts and theory in addition to the practical technical skills and abilities desired by employers.
