Welcome to Elementary Education!
We believe in the power of education and the profound difference it can make in the
life of a child. The foundation for learning that a child receives in elementary school
prepares them for the remainder of their educational career.
Earning an elementary education degree will prepare you to teach kindergarten through 6th grade. With UAFS you'll have the opportunity to participate in innovative practices such as teacher apprenticeship, a paid year-long residency program during your senior year. You'll also participate in embedded classes, spending extended periods in K-6 classrooms, and have the opportunity to earn a Special Education or Early Childhood endorsement to bolster your teaching license.
Our graduates teach in private and public schools across the nation.
